Countdown to Christmas :: Day Twenty-One & Twenty-Two

Yesterday I failed to get a photo of Elfie but I got to spend the day capturing kiddos from around or community with the big guy himself ~ Santa!

I fell asleep early last night after an exhausting fun day with Santa. Luckily my hubby rocks and took over and Elfie was found hiding between the cereal this am.
Today's activity was to PLAY IN THE SNOW (of course)! Aaron & I did a bit of coyote calling this morning and although we didn't call one up it was nice to sit in a quiet field by ourselves.
After lunch we bundled up and went sledding, pulled the boys behind the ranger, played king of the moutain, and finished it off with hot cocoa. There's ribs on the smoker and we have a date with my fave show Alaska the Last Frontier tonight. Only 3 more sleeps until Christmas! Woohoo!

Countdown to Christmas :: Day 20

Elfie decided he would spell check Chase's "oy" from last nights gingerbread house decorating. And .... there was a bill left for the stolen hershey kisses so the boys each quickly ran to leave quarters next to him so they'd be out of trouble.
Today was Ella's class party (the boys have them too, but we're not allowed to go unless we do games or something. I've never understand that, but oh well).
Coe is spending the night at a friend's tonight so Chase got to choose the activity. We will be watching a Christmas movie, eating popcorn, and having a sleep over. (which is not to be mistaken for a slumber party because that's what girls have. LOL!)

Countdown to Christmas :: Day Nineteen

Elfie was charging for kisses this morning and the boys decided it was okay to snag a few and only leave him a penny. I sure hope he doesn't leave them a bill tonight.
Tonight's activity is one of my favorites : decorating our "gingerbread" house. Yes it's a wooden house that we reuse every year. I love that we don't have to worry about the walls falling in no matter how much candy the kids pile on. We've had it since Coe was little and thanks to Kayla Fuhr we've been treasuring it ever since.

Countdown to Christmas :: Day Eighteen

Tuesday morning poor Elfie was held hostage by the Army.
Ella's preK class had their adorable Christmas program and our activity was to write letters to Santa.
